SCORE GUIDE
Understand NAT-TEST scores and results.
Passing requires both the overall passing score and the minimum score for every scoring section.
| Level | Total | Passing score | Sectional minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1Q | 180 | 100 | 19 in each 60-point section |
| 2Q | 180 | 90 | 19 in each 60-point section |
| 3Q | 180 | 95 | 19 in each 60-point section |
| 4Q | 180 | 90 | 38 in the 120-point section; 19 in listening |
| 5Q | 180 | 80 | 38 in the 120-point section; 19 in listening |
Two conditions must be met
You need an overall score at or above the passing score and a score at or above the minimum in every scoring section. A strong total cannot compensate for a section below its minimum.
Read practice results by section
Review vocabulary, grammar and reading, and listening separately. Group mistakes by type so the next session targets a specific weakness.
App scores are study estimates
The 180-point display in NAT PASS is a learning reference, not an official result or pass guarantee. Check the official NAT-TEST website before the exam because policies can change.
